Our Vision
People of every generation are passionately growing in our relationship with Jesus, genuinely loving our neighbors, and mutually sending disciple makers into Rome, WI and wherever the Spirit leads us.
First, people of every generation are passionately growing in our relationship with Jesus. The Great Commission recorded in Matthew 28:18-20 includes these words, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” (NIV). People of every people group and every generation are included in all nations. In our local setting that means we need to be intentional about reaching out to every age group as well as helping all age groups serve together.
Second, we are genuinely loving our neighbors. Jesus said, “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31, NIV). We are compelled to discover the needs of the people in our community. Our building can be a community center where we are helping people experience the L.I.F.E. R.hythm (Learn. Impact. Forge Relationships. Entertain. Rest.) in a Christ-centered environment. Also, it means that we are engaging in intergenerational discipleship through Life Groups, mission trips, and other events.
Third, we are mutually sending disciple makers into Rome, WI and wherever the Spirit leads us. Jesus said, “As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world” (John 17:18b, NIV). The early Christians took sending seriously. Barnabas and Saul were sent. “So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off” (Acts 13:3, NIV). We are called to continue going on mission with Jesus together!
