Planting Churches trains people to reach new people in new contexts. Parts two, three, and four are all lifelong learning opportunities for you to continue moving forward as local missionaries as God has gifted you.
Planting Churches (Acts 11:19-26)
1. Triads for Mission Training (being coached)
2. Start a New Outreach Ministry (being coached)
3. Church Planter Training (being coached)
4. Plant a New Church (being coached)
Triads for Mission Training (being coached)
Triads are groups of three people who train together in the Word, in prayer, in sharpening one another in Christ-centered relationships, and in intentional mission work. They also work with a coach to develop goals and action steps for their outreach into the community.
Start a New Outreach Ministry (being coached)
New ideas and opportunities for sharing the Gospel with people will take place as disciples grow together in triads. The Spirit will move people to start new outreach ministries. We will provide Christ-centered coaching to support people in their outreach ministries.
Church Planter Training (being coached)
People with the heart and the gifts to plant churches will arise as disciples of Jesus continue growing on this lifelong apprenticeship with Jesus. We will engage in local training as well as training through partnerships with church planters and church planting networks.
Plant a New Church (being coached)
Throughout the apprenticeship process we will be praying for the people of our community, focusing on sharing the Gospel with people who don’t know Jesus and/or are disconnected from the Body of Christ, discovering ways to engage in the harvest field and reach new people, making disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus, and seeking God for Spirit-led wisdom to plant where He sends us. Focusing on Jesus and His Great Commission leads to church planting.
